Directed Search for Non-Dominated Emergency Medical System Designs

This research paper is aimed at a specific group of emergency medical service location problems, which are solved to save people’s lives and reduce the rate mortality morbidity. Since searching for optimal center deployment big challenge, many operations researchers, programmers, healthcare practitioners have been making great effort find effective solutions since 1960s. Within this paper, we study such system design problem in two contradictory objectives taken into account. optimization one criterion causes deterioration value other, small finite set seems be sufficient output associated solving process further decision-making. Therefore, here several heuristic approaches that enable us approximate original Pareto fronts non-dominated designs. In addition theoretical explanation, provide readers with results numerical experiments order evaluate quality proposed algorithms. Based on presented results, it can stated suggested approach able produce good approximation front designs acceptable computational time, orders shorter than required by former exact method.
